In a large bowl mix together the whey protein powder, oat bran, wheat germ and wheat flour and salt.

In a third bowl mix brown sugar, honey, apple juice, eggs and peanut butter.  After mixed, combine with protein powder mixture and stir well.  Fold in dried fruit and spread into the pan.  Bake for 35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 210 degrees.  Remove from oven and fully cool.  Cut into bars and place bars in zip locks.  Store for a week in bags or a little longer if kept in the fridge.  This is one of my favorite high protein bar recipes and my children love it too!

Unbaked high protein bar recipes are another way to prepare a healthy snack. Take a cup of oats, half a cup of oat bran, half a cup of wheat germ and half a cup of vanilla protein powder each. Add one cup of peanut butter, dried fruits, light karo syrup and chocolate chips. Mix the ingredients well and cut it into bar shape and freeze.
