My Protein Breakfasts:
Eggs are one of the richest sources of proteins, vitamins and minerals. I make eggs for my family many ways. I boil them, scramble them in a pan with Pam cooking Spray and low fat cheese (usually 1 yolk to every 3 egg whites), add bacon or veggies for omelets or put them on top of toast. Eggs also contain Choline, which is crucial for a healthy brain and nervous system.
I make make French toast with whole wheat bread and serve it with boiled eggs. We also have Protein Pancakes, turkey bacon or low-sodium regular bacon. Turkey sausage is also a family favorite as well as low-fat cottage cheese with fruit on top.
